After studying a Masters degree in Printmaking at the Royal college of Art in London, and several years teaching print in local colleges, Dena founded Kiwi Print Studio in 2012. The heart and soul of Kiwi, Dena manages the studio running courses and workshops as well as organizing off premises events and classes, whilst printing her own work simultaneously. There’s nothing Dena would rather be doing then printing in her lovely studio, and encouraging others to share her passion. Her works are bright and poppy reflecting her Cornish heritage and love of the outdoors. It’s impossible to get Dena to stop for even a moment, as she is always working on new and exciting ways to brighten up the studio and maintain the fun and creative printing hub that is Kiwi.
Ella studied a BA in Textile Design at Falmouth University, she has a love of all things pattern and floral, especially when it comes to print. Ella is a wizard at Photoshop and illustrator. She edits and rearranges customer designs so they are ready for printing, as well working on Kiwi products with Dena. Ella creates intricate repeat pattern designs for fabric printing, and her style and taste for all things bright and pink brings something different to Dena's love of the colour blue. As well as editing and printing, Ella is Dena's little shadow where she helps assisting with with workshops and events for Kiwi.
