Circle Contemporary Workshops

Kiwi are hitting the road and bringing Printmaking to North Cornwall.

Join us in the beautiful and bright Circle Contemporary Gallery, Hawksfield, located on the Atlantic Highway in between Padstow and Wadebridge.
We will be covering Screen printing, Lino and Drypoint processes, as well as a mini print club for the kids over the summer holidays. 

Screen Printing:

This experimental screen printing workshop will cover a range of techniques using hand cut stencils, layering colours, collage and drawing. By the end of the session you will have created a small edition of silk screen printed pieces.

Drypoint Etching:

Learn the simple technique of drypoint in this lovely and relaxed workshop. Perfect for complete print beginners or artists looking to broaden their practise and develop ideas into a print context, dry point is a great place to start. Etching without acid, drypoint achieves delicate linear imagery and rich inky prints.

Linocut Printing:

Join us in the simple delights of linocutting. This fun and engaging workshop is open  to any skill level or art experience, perfect for beginners looking to learn something new. Focussing on creating patterns and mark making, you will learn how to cut and carve your lino, roll out specialty relief inks and print your block.

Mini Print Club:

As part of your holiday join in our fun and hands-on two and a half hour screen printing workshop packed full of creativity and designed for children aged 8+. Every child will be printing onto a their own mini tote bag using our cute mini screens.
