Preparations for Kiwi Printmaking Studio Back To School Take 2

Recently I went back to school to teach a class of pupils how to screen print using photo emulsion. I was also invited to help pupils make a birthday card for Camilla, The Duchess of Cornwall who they were meeting on the 16th July 2013 in Lostwithiel.  I helped to edit and create a card using pupils drawings. On my visit I taught the pupils how to screen print the card.

The class were also learning about the sea. Collaborating with the teacher we created a lesson working from their drawings. I edited each of the drawings and created a design they could colour in and print onto T-shirts. I had a wonderful day and the pupils were so inspirational. I cannot wait to visit the school again in the future.

If you would like Kiwi to pop up at your school or birthday party please contact Dena O'Brien BA (Hons) MA RCA We can work with you to create a lesson that is unique, fun, creative and educational.

Thank you for inviting me Lostwithiel school.
